Care instructions for your SM WORKS rims

To ensure that your rims look good for a long time and that you enjoy their maximum lifespan, we ask you to follow the following care instructions:

• Do not use wheel cleaner! Aggressive cleaning agents—especially traditional car wheel cleaners—can damage the surface and coating of the wheels.

• For cleaning, all you need is a soft microfiber cloth in combination with clear water , which ideally has a neutral pH value .

• Do not use additional cleaning agents or soaps as these may bleach or damage the colour and surface.

• If there is chain grease or stubborn dirt on the rim, carefully remove it with brake cleaner :

  • Spray a small amount onto a microfiber cloth , not directly onto the rim!

  • Wipe the soiled area.

  • Then wipe with a second cloth moistened only with water.

  • Finally, dry thoroughly with a third, dry cloth.

• To avoid discoloration or fading due to sunlight , you should cover your motorcycle with a tarpaulin if it is to be parked for a longer period of time.

With this gentle care, you can ensure that your rims still look like new even after many uses.
