The timeframe begins after full payment has been received and the configuration or order has been confirmed. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays at the production site.

The standard times are planning estimates: Depending on capacity, design, and component availability, your wheelset may be finished sooner. In exceptional cases, production may also take longer than 50 working days. We will inform you by email if any foreseeable changes occur. If you are planning for a specific date, please ask us about the current timeframe before ordering.

EXPRESS PRODUCTION – YOUR SETUP. READY FASTER.

Wait less, ride sooner: With the SM WORKS Fast Lane, your order receives priority in production – with the same assembly and quality checks.

  • Shipping within 4 calendar weeks from receipt of full payment and complete configuration or order release.
  • €199 per wheelset – selectable directly when ordering.
  • For all SM WORKS wheelsets where the express option is offered.
  • Assembly, quality control, run-out check, and any booked tire mounting are included within the express timeframe.

Select EXPRESS PRODUCTION for the respective product or in the configurator. As soon as your wheelset is shipped, you will receive your tracking number by email. Shipping time to your location is additional.

The express guarantee is separate from the standard estimates. For EXCEL and SM PRO PLATINUM, the standard production time stated above applies.

WHAT DOES THE PRODUCTION PROCESS INCLUDE?

Your individual wheelset is created step-by-step from your selected components:

  • Surface finishing according to your selection, e.g., anodizing, powder coating, or Cerakote.
  • Assembly and lacing of the wheelset.
  • Truing, adjusting, and checking spoke tension, including retightening if necessary.
  • Run-out check (checking for lateral and radial run-out).
  • Final quality control.

Optionally, this is followed by the booked tire mounting, tube or tubeless setup, and balancing. These services are only included if you have selected them.

The standard information refers to the pure production time of the wheelset. Additional tire mounting may add approximately 1 week depending on order volume. Production time and total delivery time are not identical; shipping time is counted separately. You can find information on this under shipping times.

IN-STOCK ITEMS & COMPONENTS

Specific designs and components are in stock. If your ordered item is available, shipping generally takes place on the same or the next working day after receipt of payment. Not every size, color, and model combination is in stock at all times.

  • SM BASIC KIT & SM PRO KIT: Custom-built after ordering, approx. 20 working days production time. The SM BASIC KIT includes the front brake disc, sprocket, and adapter; the SM PRO KIT additionally includes the rear brake disc.
  • Non-stock purchased parts & accessories: approx. 5–10 working days until shipping, depending on availability. This includes, for example, Moto-Master components, tires, and brake pads.
