With the EXCEL configurator, you can build your supermoto wheelset exactly how you want it: original EXCEL rims, the hub of your choice, stainless steel spokes, and aluminum spoke nipples. You assemble the rim size, colors, and extras to match your motorcycle and your style—it is built after you place your order.

SIZES & TIRE RECOMMENDATION

Front: 17 x 3.50 – Tire 120/70
Rear: 17 x 4.25 – Tire 150/60
Rear: 17 x 4.50 – Tire 150/60
Rear: 17 x 5.00 – Tire 160/60

Available sizes depend on the motorcycle and hub. Optionally, you can receive the wheelset with tires already mounted – you select the brand, heavy-duty tube or tubeless, and balancing in the configurator.

MATCHING YOUR BIKE

Provide the model and year of manufacture in full. If you have modified the fork, swingarm, axles, or braking system, please briefly discuss the configuration with us beforehand: support@smworks.at. The product images show example configurations – hubs in particular may look different depending on the model and selection.

SM WORKS TÜV FOLDER

Your wheelset comes with the available technical documentation for homologation or registration – in special cases, even for individual approval. The inspection authority decides whether it will be registered. It is best to discuss your conversion with them briefly beforehand. More information at Registration & TÜV Folder.

ASSEMBLY

Mount the wheelset professionally and tighten all bolts and axle nuts to the torques specified by the vehicle manufacturer (OEM). Check spoke tension and trueness after the first few kilometers.

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY TIME

Your wheelset is built for you after your order. Production time is up to 50 working days from receipt of payment and full configuration. In case of unusually high demand, it may take longer – we will contact you in such a case. Tire mounting can add up to a week, and shipping time is extra. EXPRESS PRODUCTION is not available for EXCEL wheelsets. All details at Production & Delivery Times.

CUSTOM PRODUCTION

Each wheelset is individually built for you according to your specifications regarding motorcycle, year of manufacture, sizes, hub, and colors. As a custom product made to customer specifications, it is exempt from the right of withdrawal in accordance with § 18 Para. 1 Z 3 FAGG. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this, of course. Admissibility for road use depends on the vehicle, country, and registration.
