BETA SM-BASIC RIM SET

Solid-colored rim rings, plus hubs and spoke nipples in the colors of your choice – that is your SM-BASIC setup. The 17-inch wheel set is built after your order to match your motorcycle model and year of manufacture.

The rim set comes without tires. In the configurator, you can optionally select tires – including mounting, heavy-duty inner tube or tubeless, and balancing. Brake discs, brake caliper adapters, and sprocket are also available to match.

Weight: approx. 9.5 to 11.5 kg for the complete set without tires, brake discs, and sprocket – depending on rim size and hub.

SUITABLE FOR YOUR BIKE

Please provide the complete model and year of manufacture. If you have modified the fork, swingarm, axles, or braking system, please discuss the configuration with us beforehand: support@smworks.at. The product images show example configurations – the version delivered will be for your specific motorcycle.

SM WORKS TÜV FOLDER

You will receive the technical documents for your wheel set that you need for official registration or certification – in special cases, this also applies to individual approvals. These include material and strength certificates, metallurgical test reports, load capacity data, and model overviews.

The inspection authority decides whether registration is granted. It is best to discuss your conversion with them beforehand. More information can be found at Registration & TÜV Folder.

ASSEMBLY

Install the wheel set professionally and tighten all bolts and axle nuts to the torques specified by the vehicle manufacturer (OEM). After the first few kilometers, check spoke tension and run-out. Tips can be found at Care, Maintenance & Rim Service.

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY TIME

Your wheel set will be built for you after your order. The production time is up to 50 working days from receipt of payment and complete configuration. In case of unusually high demand, it may take longer – in that case, we will contact you. Tire mounting may add up to a week, plus shipping time.

EXPRESS PRODUCTION: For an extra €199 per wheel set, yours will be given priority in production and will be sent out within 4 calendar weeks – tire mounting included. All details at Production & Delivery Times.

CUSTOM PRODUCTION

Every wheel set is built individually for you according to your specifications regarding motorcycle, year, sizes, and colors. As a custom product made to customer specifications, it is excluded from the right of withdrawal according to § 18 Para. 1 No. 3 FAGG. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. Legality on public roads depends on the vehicle, country, and registration.
