For those who don't want to spend time configuring and just want a balanced setup: The EXCEL Editions combine original EXCEL rims with SM WORKS × NGR Performance CNC hubs, stainless steel spokes, and aluminum spoke nipples into a completely assembled supermoto wheelset. The 17-inch wheelset is built after your order to fit your motorcycle model and year of manufacture.

THE EDITION DESIGN

Rims and spokes are black, while hubs and spoke nipples come in your edition's color – which is indicated in the product name. Clean enough for an OEM+ build, eye-catching enough to stand out. All you need to choose is the rim size and optional extras.

You can see which widths are available for your model directly during selection. Optionally, you can receive the wheelset with tires already mounted – you can choose the brand, heavy-duty tube or tubeless, and balancing in the configurator.

FITS YOUR BIKE

Provide your model and year of manufacture in full. If you have modified the fork, swingarm, axles, or braking system, please discuss the configuration with us beforehand: support@smworks.at. Product images show example configurations – the shape of individual components may vary depending on the model, but the color scheme of your edition remains the same.

SM WORKS TÜV FOLDER

Your wheelset comes with the available technical documentation for road approval or registration – in special cases also for individual inspection. This includes, among other things, material and strength certificates, metallurgical test reports, and load data. The inspection body decides whether registration is granted. INSTALLATION

Install the wheelset professionally and tighten all bolts and axle nuts to the torques specified by the vehicle manufacturer (OEM). Check spoke tension and trueness after the first few kilometers. You can find tips at Care, Maintenance & Rim Service.

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY TIME

Your wheelset is built for you after your order is placed. Production time is up to 50 working days from receipt of payment and complete configuration. During periods of unusually high demand, it may take longer – in that case, we will contact you. Tire mounting may add up to a week, and shipping time is added as well. EXPRESS PRODUCTION is not available for EXCEL wheelsets. All details at Production & Delivery Times.

CUSTOM PRODUCTION

Each wheelset is built individually for you according to your specifications regarding motorcycle, year, and sizes. As a custom product made to customer specifications, it is excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with § 18 Para. 1 No. 3 FAGG. Your legal warranty remains unaffected. Road legality depends on the vehicle, country, and registration.
