GASGAS BASIC PLUG & PLAY SET

Solid-colored wheel rims, plus hubs and spoke nipples in your desired colors – the SM-BASIC setup, ready to ride with tires. The 17-inch wheelset is built after your order to fit your motorcycle model and year of manufacture.

The tire set is included in the package and comes mounted. You simply choose the tire brand, whether you want heavy-duty tubes or tubeless, and whether you want them balanced. You can optionally add brake discs, brake caliper adapters, and sprocket to your order.

Front: 17 x 3.50 – Tire 120/70
Rear: 17 x 4.25 – Tire 150/60
Rear: 17 x 4.50 – Tire 150/60
Rear: 17 x 5.00 – Tire 160/60

You can see which widths are available for your model directly during the selection process. The matching tire size for the selected rim width is already taken into account.

Weight: The wheelset itself weighs approx. 9.5 to 11.5 kg without tires, brake discs, and sprocket – depending on rim size and hub.

FITTING YOUR BIKE

Provide your model and year of manufacture in full. If you have modified your fork, swingarm, axles, or braking system, please consult with us briefly about the configuration beforehand: support@smworks.at. The product images show example configurations – you will receive the version for your motorcycle.

SM WORKS TÜV FOLDER

You will receive the technical documents required for type approval or registration with your wheelset – in special cases, also for an individual inspection. These include, among other things, material and strength certificates, metallurgical test reports, load capacity data, and model overviews.

The testing authority decides whether registration is granted. It is best to discuss your modification with them briefly beforehand. More information is available under Registration & TÜV Folder.

INSTALLATION

Install the wheels professionally and tighten all bolts and axle nuts to the torques specified by the vehicle manufacturer (OEM). Break in new tires carefully and check tire pressure, spoke tension, and run-out after the first few kilometers. You can find tips under Care, Maintenance & Rim Service.

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY TIME

Your wheelset is built for you after your order. The production time is up to 50 working days from receipt of payment and complete configuration. In case of unusually high order volumes, it may take longer – in that case, we will contact you. Tire mounting may add up to a week, and shipping time is added to this as well.

EXPRESS PRODUCTION: For an extra €199 per wheelset, yours will be prioritized in production and shipped within 4 calendar weeks – tire mounting included. All details under Production & Delivery Times.

CUSTOM PRODUCTION

Each wheelset is built individually for you according to your specifications regarding motorcycle, year, sizes, colors, and tires. As a custom order made to customer specifications, it is excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with § 18 Para. 1 No. 3 of the FAGG (Austrian Distance Selling Act). Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this. Road legality depends on the vehicle, country, and registration.
