KTM ALL-BLACK RIM SET

Rim rings, hubs, spokes, and nipples all in black – clean, timeless, and a fit for every bike. There are intentionally no colors to choose from here, only the rim size to match your motorcycle. The 17-inch wheelset is built after your order to suit your motorcycle model and year of manufacture. If you prefer your own color combination, take a look at SM-BASIC and SM-PRO.

The rim set comes without tires. In the configurator, you can optionally select tires – including mounting, heavy-duty tubes or tubeless, and balancing. Brake discs, brake caliper adapters, and sprockets are also available to match.

Weight: approx. 9.5 to 11.5 kg for the complete set without tires, brake discs, and sprocket – depending on rim size and hub.

TO FIT YOUR BIKE

Provide your model and year of manufacture in full. If you have modified the fork, swingarm, axles, or braking system, please discuss the configuration with us beforehand: support@smworks.at. The product images show example configurations – the version delivered will be the one for your motorcycle.

SM WORKS TÜV FOLDER

With your wheelset, you receive the technical documents you need for type approval or registration – and in special cases, for individual approval as well. Included are, among other things, material and strength certificates, metallurgical test reports, load data, and model overviews.

The testing authority decides whether registration will be granted. It is best to discuss your conversion with them beforehand. More on this under Registration & TÜV Folder.

ASSEMBLY

Mount the wheelset professionally and tighten all screws and axle nuts to the torques specified by the vehicle manufacturer (OEM). After the first few kilometers, check spoke tension and runout. Tips can be found under Care, Maintenance & Rim Service.

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY TIME

Your wheelset is built for you after your order. Production time is up to 50 working days from receipt of payment and full configuration. In case of unusually high demand, it may take longer – in that case, we will contact you. Tire mounting may add up to a week, and shipping time is added as well.

EXPRESS PRODUCTION: For an extra €199 per wheelset, yours receives priority in production and will be sent out within 4 calendar weeks – tire mounting included. All details under Production & Delivery Times.

CUSTOM PRODUCTION

Each wheelset is built individually for you according to your specifications regarding motorcycle, year, and sizes. As a custom-made product according to customer specifications, it is excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with § 18 Para. 1 Z 3 FAGG. Your statutory warranty naturally remains unaffected. Admissibility for road use depends on the vehicle, country, and registration.
