TM RACING BASIC PLUG & PLAY SET

Single-colored rim rings, plus hubs and spoke nipples in your desired colors – the SM-BASIC setup, ready-to-ride with tires. The 17-inch wheelset is built after your order to fit your motorcycle model and year of manufacture.

The set of tires is included and comes mounted. You only choose the tire brand, whether heavy-duty inner tubes or tubeless, and whether they should be balanced. You can optionally add brake discs, brake caliper adapters, and a sprocket.

Front: 17 x 3.50 – Tire 120/70
Rear: 17 x 4.25 – Tire 150/60
Rear: 17 x 4.50 – Tire 150/60
Rear: 17 x 5.00 – Tire 160/60

You can see which widths are available for your model directly during selection. The appropriate tire size for the chosen rim width is already taken into account.

Weight: The wheelset itself weighs approx. 9.5 to 11.5 kg without tires, brake discs, and sprocket – depending on rim size and hub.

FITTING YOUR BIKE

Provide your model and year of manufacture completely. If you have made modifications to the fork, swingarm, axles, or brake system, please briefly discuss the version with us beforehand: support@smworks.at. The product images show example configurations – the version delivered will be the one for your motorcycle.

SM WORKS TÜV FOLDER

With your wheelset, you receive the technical documents needed for homologation or registration – in special cases also for individual approval. These include, among other things, material and strength certificates, metallurgical test reports, load capacity data, and model overviews.

The testing authority decides whether registration will be granted. It is best to briefly discuss your conversion with them beforehand. More on this under Registration & TÜV Folder.

ASSEMBLY

Install the wheels professionally and tighten all bolts and axle nuts to the torques specified by the vehicle manufacturer (OEM). Break in new tires carefully and check air pressure, spoke tension, and true after the first few kilometers. You can find tips under Care, Maintenance & Rim Service.

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY TIME

Your wheelset is built for you after your order. The production time is up to 50 business days from receipt of payment and complete configuration. During periods of unusually high demand, it may take longer – in that case, we will contact you. Tire mounting may add up to one week, and shipping time is additional.

EXPRESS PRODUCTION: For an extra €199 per wheelset, yours receives priority in production and ships within 4 calendar weeks – tire mounting included. All details under Production & Delivery Times.

CUSTOM PRODUCTION

Every wheelset is built individually for you according to your specifications regarding motorcycle, year, sizes, colors, and tires. As a custom product made to customer specifications, it is excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with § 18 Para. 1 No. 3 FAGG. Your statutory warranty naturally remains unaffected by this. Road legality depends on the vehicle, country, and registration.
