SM WORKS RIM SERVICE – SPOKE REPAIR & TRUING

Damaged spokes? We'll take care of your wheel – shipping label included. Our repair service for SM WORKS spoked wheels includes the replacement of damaged spokes, truing, and a final inspection.

€129 PER WHEEL – WHAT’S INCLUDED

• Inspection of the sent-in wheel for damage
• Replacement of damaged spokes – up to 10 replacement spokes included
• Truing, re-tensioning, and a final concentricity and functionality check
• Round-trip shipping within Austria and Germany using the shipping label provided by us for your submission

The base price applies to standard spoke repair on a single wheel, excluding tire work. All stated prices include statutory VAT.

SENDING IN A WHEEL WITH TIRE: +€49

You can also send in your wheel with the tire mounted. For €49 extra per wheel, we will handle the removal of the tire, subsequent re-mounting, and re-balancing. Total price with tire work: €178 per wheel, plus any additional spokes or agreed-upon extra services that may be required.

Please indicate when ordering if your wheel includes a tire. Tire work must be ordered or agreed upon before it is performed. A new tire or any other additionally required material is not included in the surcharge.

MORE THAN TEN SPOKES?

Starting from the 11th replacement spoke required, we charge €2.25 per piece including VAT. We only charge for the spokes actually replaced in addition. We determine the quantity during the inspection; billing is handled separately.

If you authorize the replacement of further spokes in advance at this unit price, no separate individual inquiry is necessary. Without such authorization, we will coordinate any additional costs with you first. Other materials and additional work are generally only performed after consultation and your approval.

RIM RING REPLACEMENT, HUB REPLACEMENT & COMPLETE REBUILD

The €129 service covers spoke repair and truing. The replacement of a rim ring or hub, as well as a complete re-spoking, are not included. For these, we will provide an individual quote for labor, components, and shipping as part of our SM WORKS WHEEL REBUILD.

We will assess whether a repair is possible and reasonable after inspection. Deformation of the rim ring cannot always be corrected by truing.

IT’S THAT SIMPLE

1. Order service: If the extent of the damage is unclear, send us photos and a description in advance to support@smworks.at.
2. Receive shipping label: We will send you the label for your submission via email. Please wait for this label; self-booked shipping is not part of the package.
3. Pack securely & drop off: Pack the wheel in a suitable, sturdy box and include your order number. Drop off the package at a collection point for the parcel service named on the label. You are responsible for packaging and drop-off.
4. Repair & return shipping: We will inspect and process your wheel and send it back once completed.

PROCESSING TIME & SHIPPING AREA

Standard repairs take approx. 3–5 working days after receipt of goods. In the event of further damage, required spare parts, or more extensive work, we will coordinate the timeframe with you. Round-trip transport time is in addition to this.

The included round-trip shipping applies to Austria and Germany. For other countries, please request an individual shipping quote before ordering.
